A hybridized digital image of medical gauze, enlarged to a monolithic scale, turns an everyday material of hospital usage into a glass tapestry backdrop for the two-story entry lobby at Sutter Health’s California Pacific Medial Center Van Ness Campus in San Francisco, CA. The sculptural metal and kiln-formed glass weave horizontally above mid-height abstracts our individual biology into a molecular level of circulatory flow and beauty.
